Work Experience:
Chuen Fei has more than 20 years of experience in implementing Enterprise Risk Management. He started this at ST Engineering (2004-2009) as Vice President (Risk Management) and ST Marine (2009-2014) as Vice President (Business Excellence and RM), and subsequently as a free-lance
ERM consultant for NUS (August 2014 to January 2016), BCP Asia(2016 till present), NIPSEA (June 2014 – Jul 2016), Anderco Pte Ltd, etc. Chuen Fei was instrumental in the implementation of various Enterprise Risk Management and related Schemes.
Chuen Fei was the champion for Project Risk Management (PRM) and he had developed the PRM Framework for ST Engineering, which was implemented across the Business Sectors. As Vice President ST Marine(Business Excellence and RM), Chuen Fei was also responsible for
implementing various new Management Systems and led ST Marine to achieve certifications to ISO14001(Environment), ISO14064 for Green House Gas (first company in ASEAN), SEAA (Singapore Environment Achievement Award, and SS540 followed by ISO22301 (Business
Continuity Management).
During his earlier career, Chuen Fei was with Chartered Industries of Singapore (Singapore’s Defence Industries) and then ST Kinetics. He was Assistant Director (Engineering Division) for Large Calibre Ammunition Development and Assistant General Manager for Munitions Manufacturing. He was General Manager for SMART Systems (a JV Subsidiary of ST Kinetics) that produces Guided
Weapon System.
Chuen Fei represented SPRING Singapore in ISO31000 Risk Management WG overseas meetings and was awarded SPRING Singapore’s 2013 Standard Partners Merit Award for his contribution towards the establishment of the ISO 31000 Risk Management Guide.
In 2016, Chuen Fei developed the 3-Days ERM Course (WSQ Certified) for BCP Asia Pte Ltd has been teaching the Course for 22 runs till present. Since 2023, he has been the ERM course developer and facilitator of United Seas College.
